Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare’s Elmbrook Memorial wins second annual Hospital Food Fight!
Elmbrook Memorial was declared the winner of the second annual Hospital Food Fight on Sunday, April 22. The event benefited Stillwaters Cancer Support Services and included the “iron chef-type” competition between hospital chefs, educational seminars, small food tastings from food businesses and children’s activities. Elmbrook also won the “People’s Choice Award” for its food samples provided to the event attendees.
Four hospitals competed for the title: Elmbrook Memorial, Aurora Healthcare’s Summit Medical Center, ProHealth Care’s Waukesha Memorial and Oconomowoc Memorial. Each dish met the American Dietetic Association’s nutritional guidelines and cost less than $5.00.
