There are many outstanding cancer support organizations in Southeast Wisconsin. Here are just two of the organizations with which we partner:
ABCD: After Breast Cancer Diagnosis
ABCD provides free, personalized information and one-to-one support to people affected by breast cancer – patients, families and friends. Support includes its signature One-to-One mentoring breast cancer support service, a Breast Cancer Helpline and Resource List, and MORE: Mentor Outreach and Education program. More information.
ENCORE: Peer-to-Peer Breast Cancer Support Group
ENCORE volunteers meet weekly (September – May) to provide peer-to-peer support for those in Waukesha coping with a breast cancer diagnosis. The Monday morning group includes an hour of warm water pool exercises. The Tuesday evening group focuses on support and education. For more information, call Helen at (262) 544-1366.
