Stillwaters exists so no person affected by cancer will feel alone in their journey.
Our Mission
Stillwaters exists to serve persons with cancer and those who love them. Stillwaters nurtures, supports and encourages healing of the whole person; mind, body and spirit.
A community-based, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) agency, Stillwaters provides professional, supportive services to help people understand that they are an important part of their healing process. We offer opportunities to share common experiences, learn effective coping skills and make necessary life changes to promote wellness. Our programs complement the efforts of medical professionals and other cancer organizations by providing psychological, social and emotional support.
Stillwaters services include professional counseling for individuals and families, professionally facilitated support groups, workshops and grief services. In 2010, Stillwaters served 700 individuals from Waukesha, Milwaukee and surrounding counties in Wisconsin.
All services are available at no-cost to participants. We are deeply grateful for the support of our donors and sponsors.
