Stillwaters Cancer Support
Services is your partner in providing professional patient care
for the whole person.
Stillwaters offers professionally facilitated
groups for cancer patients, survivors, family members and
friends. We also offer short term individual and
family counseling for cancer related issues, end of life issues
and bereavement issues. Consider the
following reasons to refer your patients to us:
1. We
provide professional psycho-social services to all
individuals affected by a cancer diagnosis throughout the greater Milwaukee and Waukesha
County area.
2. We can
provide support
services to your patients at your treatment facility..
3. We provide telephone
support services to homebound patients or those who
are geographically isolated.
4. We provide help to
caregivers, family members and friends, in addition to
the patient.
5. We offer help beyond
treatment, providing specialized programs for both
post-treatment survivors and the bereaved.
6. We have youth programs for
children and teenagers who have a parent, sibling or
loved with cancer.
7. All our services are
provided free of charge to the participant.

respects and upholds the confidentiality of all people referred
to us for help.
NEW SERVICE FOR CANCER PATIENTS - ON-SITE VISITS
Stillwaters understands how difficult it is for many
individuals to participate in our programs while they are
actively in treatment. To ensure that our services are
accessible, our counselors are now available to meet with cancer
patients and/or their family members while they are receiving
treatment. Our counselors will work with each individual to
determine their unique needs. Initial meeting will include
an introduction and general information on Stillwaters programs
and services.
This service is in partnership with area providers including:
Waukesha Memorial Hospital, Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital, DN
Greenwald Center, Community Memorial Hospital and Oncology
